Introduction: Chris Twigger
I’m Chris Twigger. I am going to start doing Blogs for TWS Radio. I have previously gone back and forth on doing Blogs for a few months now. I have listened to TWS since January 2015, which is a small Wrestling Radio Show, based in England, which airs every Sunday (7pm GMT/2pm EST), and I will be doing Blogs for them, about Indy Shows. So let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I have been a Wrestling Fan for 10 Years now, when I started to watch WWE in mid 2007, with guys like Shawn Michaels, Batista, Triple H, Undertaker, John Cena, and so many more Wrestlers that are considered “Legends” either now, or will be within the next few Years. I remember watching it and being enamored with it. Over the past couple of Years, I’ve got to meet some of these Legends, such as “Good Ol’ JR” Jim Ross, Trish Stratus, Lita, Edge and many more.
I started going to other Wrestling Shows, specifically Rev Pro in July 2016, which has been a joy to go to, and seeing Wrestlers, such as, Will Ospreay, Marty Scurll, Pete Dunne, and Trent Seven. I even got to Meet and Watch Jushin “Thunder” Liger and Yuji Nagata Live, which is something that I never thought I’d do, and it was surreal!!
Now, of course, Wrestling isn’t the only thing I watch, but where it is the Primary Thing that I watch, it will be the only thing I will be writing about on a Weekly Basis.
I’m sure you’re wondering who my Favourite Wrestlers, Matches etc. are, and I will do a “Top 10” of them in the Future. But for right now, my Favourite Wrestler is, by far, The Legendary “Heartbreak Kid”, Shawn Michaels. HBK, in my opinion, has put on more 4-5* Matches than anyone else, from his Matches with the likes of Undertaker, Triple H, Kurt Angle, Steve Austin and many more. As for my Favourite Match, it shouldn’t be any surprise that it involves Shawn Michaels, and it’s his Match vs. Undertaker at Wrestlemania 25, back in 2009. I don’t think that I’ve seen a more Perfect Match than that. The Story which was told, and the Athleticism that was showed was remarkable. What made it even better, and possibly more surprising, was the fact that both Athletes were in their 40s, and dare I say, nearing the end of their Prime!
Ok. That is it for my Introductory Blog. I think it’s longer than most. But it’s good to be different, right? I’ll be back on Tuesday with Reviews on NXT, 205 Live and any Indy Matches/Shows that anyone recommends. You can keep up-to-date, by following me on Twitter, @CTwiggerWWE, and stay up-to-date with TWS @TWSRadio on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
See you next time.
