I dont normally post articles like this but I wanted to take some time to personally reflect on the show.

It seems like only yesterday, that 3 wrestling fans joined together and brought the first ever edition of the Total Wrestling Show to the airwaves. That date was January 6th, 2011, and since that point the three of us have seen this show change and evolve faster then we ever could imagine.

When I was originally putting this show together, I wanted it to be a community where wrestling fans of any style whether that be of the big three promotions, indie scene, smart marks or even just the general fan could get together and just have a forum to express views and opinions. We all have been there before, not wanting to admit we are wrestling fans, let alone have anyone to actually discuss the products with.

It is well known that I have been involved in wrestling radio for a number of years now, and because of that I had a fair bit of experience to bring to the table, which meant that I could get this project off of the ground. Back in the day there was a show called the “Squared Circle” which I used to co-host which is what I have modeled TWS on.

The Squared Circle was a very relaxed show, where we discussed the products, the shows, the superstars in a light hearted manner but didn’t need to be crude or obscene with our comments. This was one of the values which I wanted to bring into TWS, to take it back to not a totally PG manner, but make it more relaxed and basically more fun.

I was very lucky to bring in a team of people who shared that same passion with me, and wanted to develop this show and make it a success. Dan and Steve never did anything like wrestling radio before, but have now grown into two fantastic presenters, who have grown so quick in confidence it has been a joy to see. The one thing I think that shines through with our show is that we are all genuinely friends outside of TWS, and that reflects in our product.

The reason for writing this post is that, in January 2012, we hit our 1 year anniversary, and I want to invite each and everyone of you our loyal TWS Nation to join us for this show on January 8, 2012. But more then that, we really want to hear what you think of the product that we put out weekly.

Therefore I am encouraging and asking for everyone to send us emails, voicemails or facebook messages letting us know what you want to see in 2012, do you think there are segments that should be removed, or do you want things added. This is your time to make a difference on your show.

Thank you again for all of your continued support, have a great Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

We still have 2 weeks of TWS left so lets go out of 2011 with a bang.

See you at ringside.
